The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. 2 Position(s)

Utsäljeskolan is a municipal school in Huddinge comprising primary school and adapted primary school, located in a quiet villa area on the border between Stuvsta and Segeltorp. The school is a three-stream F-8 school that will gradually grow to include year F-9. From the autumn term of 2024, the operations are conducted in completely newly built premises with a completely new schoolyard. We currently have just over 600 students. When the school is fully expanded in the autumn term of 2026, it is estimated to accommodate approximately 850 students. The school has a well-functioning student health team as well as special educators who work closely with the teachers in daily operations.

We are now looking for two primary school teachers for two temporary positions. One is for 6 months and one is for under 1 year.

Description of Duties

We are looking for you who are a confident and very experienced primary school teacher for leisure-time centers who is passionate about creating a stimulating, positive, and safe environment for our students together with your colleagues. You will be part of a work team where teachers and leisure-time educators together are responsible for having a holistic perspective on the students' school day. Your assignment includes leading values-based work with the students as well as planning leisure-time center activities. You will have close collaboration with colleagues, special needs teachers, various student health professions, and guardians. You are keen on constantly refining and improving leisure-time center activities and work actively to create a safe and predictable school environment where all students feel seen and respected.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated as a primary school teacher for leisure-time centers
• Have long experience in the professional role
• Have documented experience and very good knowledge in working with students with special needs

You are flexible and have good cooperation skills, are good at building good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management. You have the ability to create a work environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
