The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, as well as adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees across 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. There is a strong commitment here to ensure that all children and students receive high-quality education, have the opportunity to develop, and reach their full potential. Tullinge Upper Secondary School is a popular municipal school with currently 750 students. In autumn 2026, a major expansion will be completed, and over the next three years, we will grow to 1,100 students. The school is built as a campus where all our buildings have been completely renovated, offering a lush, car-free outdoor environment. A new large sports hall is also being constructed on our grounds.
Our programs include the Business Program, Natural Science Program, Social Science Program, Technology Program, and Care and Social Work Program. A new addition this autumn is the Arts Program with a focus on fashion design. We have applicants with high merit values and reserves on all our programs. Our students are those who wish to develop themselves and their knowledge, and we excel at challenging them as well as providing support when needed. Characteristic of the atmosphere at the school is our "Tullinge Spirit," featuring a great sense of community, friendly treatment, and calm for studies.
We have close collaboration between subject colleagues through shared workspaces and regular meetings. We also collaborate in work teams to develop programs, coordinate teaching, and plan for classes and individual students. The working climate at the school is good, with well-functioning routines, while there is freedom and room for new ideas. Overall, there are excellent conditions for you to thrive, develop, and be successful in your teaching.
You are passionate about your subject and are a very clear and empathetic leader in the classroom who can engage and challenge students regardless of their prior knowledge level. To give students a holistic view of their education, you see mentoring as an important part of your role, and you have a strong interest in collaborating with teachers, guardians, and other professionals at the school.
During the construction of the sports hall, we have paused a large part of physical education, and we now have a period ahead where all classes at the school have PE. Therefore, the position is fixed-term for one year.
