We are now looking for a Calculation Engineer for an exciting assignment within advanced technical product development. You will become part of a high-tech team working with structural analysis and strength, where your competence is central to the product's performance and quality.

About the assignment

In the role of Calculation Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that products meet requirements regarding static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance. You work closely with designers and other disciplines to develop optimized design solutions considering weight, material selection, production methods, and cost.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Ensuring strength and structural integrity in products
• Developing design solutions together with cross-functional teams
• Specifying and evaluating verification tests
• Identifying and proposing improvements related to function, manufacturability, and customer benefit
• Participating in concept studies and the development of design proposals
• Contributing to analyses of maintenance and repair needs
• Supporting production with technical problem-solving

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Calculation Engineer
• Relevant higher education or university degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Technical Physics, or similar)
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship (security clearance may be required)

Qualifications

• Experience from advanced structural analysis and product development
• Experience with design optimization
