We are now looking for a summer substitute for our kitchen at Mellbygård.

Mellbygård is a care and group home in Stora Mellby, where food and meals are an important part of everyday life. In our kitchen, we prepare meals for our residents and staff, and we value good service, orderliness, and a welcoming attitude.

About the position

We are looking for someone who can work in the kitchen during the summer, starting as soon as possible according to agreement.

The duties include, among other things:

• preparation and cooking of meals
• simple baking and kitchen work
• dishwashing, cleaning, and self-control checks
• ordering and receiving goods as needed
• contributing to a pleasant and safe dining environment

You do not necessarily need to be a trained chef, but you should be confident in kitchen work, able to take responsibility, and have an understanding of hygiene, structure, and food handling.

We are looking for someone who

• is responsible and self-motivated
• has experience in kitchens, cooking, or similar work
• is meticulous about hygiene and routines
• has a good ability to collaborate
• enjoys contributing to a positive atmosphere
• is available to work during the summer

Experience from large-scale kitchens, care operations, or similar is an advantage, but personal suitability is most important.
