About the role

As a CNC and Tooling Technician at RMIG, you work with the manufacturing, adjustment, and maintenance of tools for perforation production, becoming a key part of the tooling department. Here you will have a varied and technically developing role where you contribute to high quality in the company's tools and processes. The role combines programming and preparation with practical work in machines and involves significant personal responsibility in daily work. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and production, where flexibility and problem-solving skills are important parts of everyday life.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work in CNC milling, wire EDM, and surface grinding, as well as manual turning if needed
• Programming and preparation in Mastercam
• Manufacturing, adjustment, and maintenance of tools
• Quality control, measurement, and reading drawings
• Handling varying tasks and priorities based on production needs
• Lifting heavy objects may occur

You belong to the tooling department but also work closely with production in daily operations to ensure correct function and quality. The role involves great freedom under responsibility, where you are expected to be responsive, flexible, and solution-oriented.

The position is full-time and covers daytime hours, Monday–Friday.

You will be offered employment with RMIG Sweden AB, starting immediately/as agreed.

We are looking for you who have a strong technical interest and thrive in a practical and varied role with significant personal responsibility. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious with good analytical skills and the ability to adapt to production needs. You work independently but also thrive in an environment where collaboration, communication, and helpfulness are a natural part of everyday life.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have education within the industrial program and/or equivalent experience from workshop or manufacturing industry, at least 2-5 years
• Have experience working independently throughout the entire machining process, such as programming, tool setup, and operation
• Have a good understanding of reading drawings and mechanical manufacturing
• Enjoy practical work and have good machine skills

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in CNC milling, wire EDM, or surface grinding
• Experience with programming and preparation in Mastercam

We see that you have good computer skills as well as administrative ability.

Otherwise, you communicate fluently in Swedish, both in speech and writing; English is meritorious.
