Teacher for Vocational College – Automation Technician for Sustainable Industry 4.0

Etec is now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable teacher for our vocational college program Automation Technician for Sustainable Industry 4.0.

(Teacher education is not required)

About the position

We are looking for you who have experience and good knowledge within electricity and automation and who want to help train the future automation technicians.

As a teacher with us, you will teach in several areas within electricity and automation. You will primarily work within our vocational college program Automation Engineer for Sustainable Industry 4.0, but teaching may also occur within other programs and courses at Etec.

An important part of the position is to be responsible for our students in year 1 of the program Automation Engineer for Sustainable Industry 4.0. You will become a central figure in their development and be responsible for creating structure, motivation, and a strong link between education and the industry.

Your responsibilities

• Teach within electricity and automation
• Plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching
• Support and guide students through the program
• Collaborate with companies and industry actors
• Contribute to the development of our programs

The teaching includes both theoretical and practical moments with a strong link to the industry's needs.

We are looking for you who

Have experience within the electricity and automation industry and want to share your knowledge with the next generation of technicians.

Meritorious experiences

• You have taken our automation engineer program
• You have a basic education in electricity
• You have worked as a teacher in the Electricity and Energy program
• You have work experience as an electrician or industrial electrician

About Etec

Etec is a technical education center with a strong focus on education within electricity, automation, and industry. Since its founding in 2002, we have grown into an established actor in the region with education at both upper secondary and vocational college levels, as well as a wide range of corporate training.
