About the Job

We are now offering a PTP position with the possibility of continued employment after licensure. Your tasks will involve performing psychological work at the health centre under supervision, which means assessing and treating mental and behavioral-related ill health based on the primary care mandate. The focus is on preventive and early interventions, based on common reasons for seeking care at a health centre. You will work based on the needs of the listed population using digital care meetings, internet and group therapy, as well as physical individual visits.

We work based on primary care-oriented approaches, which include high accessibility, stepped/stratified care, and collaboration with other professions and care partners. It is important that you have an interest in working specifically in primary care, which means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavioral-related ill health. This also involves working with stepped/stratified care, where interventions range from psychoeducation and advice on self-care, to guided treatment with literature or internet therapy, to group therapy or individual treatment interventions. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, you must have the ability to vary the method and scope of treatment interventions.

For this position as a PTP psychologist at Tibro Health Centre, your supervisor works at Närhälsan Norrmalm Health Centre in Skövde, where the initial introduction and supervisory responsibility will originate from.

About You

• You have completed a psychology degree with eligibility to undertake PTP training.
• You have studied CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) or another current orientation for psychological treatment.
• You have an interest in primary care and primary care-adapted approaches such as stepped/stratified care.

We are looking for someone who is receptive and accommodating, with good communication skills and the ability to identify individuals' unique needs. Through initiative and active engagement, you wish to participate in the organization's development work and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health centre.

Travel during work occurs; a Class B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates to a telephone interview. The hiring manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.
