About the job

We are looking for you who enjoy food, people, and sales and want to become part of our wonderful team at Willys Hemma Umeå Rådhusesplanaden! The role essentially means that you contribute to our customers being able to buy good and sustainable food at really good prices.

Position details: Temporary position, 32 hours per week until 2027-06-13

Start date: 2026-08-10 or as agreed.

Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements: Upper secondary education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the tasks.

Here is a bit more about the role:

• Together with your colleagues, you manage the daily operations of the store, such as ensuring the store is well-stocked and looks good.
• You greet our customers with knowledge, tact, and a big smile, whether the customer needs help finding a product or paying for it.
• After a while, you will also place orders and plan sales, contributing to the store reaching its sales and profitability goals.

About you

Willys is constantly growing and developing, and you like to do the same. You enjoy learning new things, like being challenged, and are driven by taking on more responsibility. It is also great if you:

• See when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
• It is an advantage if you have worked in a store or in service, but it is not a requirement.
• You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more languages than that, so if you do the same, that is great!
