Fågelsångens School (Grades 0-9)

The school is a Grades 0-9 school with approximately 420 students in regular school and 13 students in Adapted Primary School. Here you will find bright, adapted lesson rooms and other spaces.

At Fågelsångens School, a competent and driven collegium works together, focusing on solutions and collaboration. We have a strong culture of responsibility.

The school is undergoing development work where collaboration is the foundation of everything we do.

• Our focus areas, led by the work teams, are security, study environment, well-being, and goal achievement.
• Our development area for the next two school years, led by the lead teachers, is mathematics and language-developing working methods (reading and writing).

We have a well-functioning and competent student health team where all competencies are represented.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaged teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Science (HKK) with primary responsibility for teaching and development. If you have qualifications in additional subjects, this is an advantage.

In your work, you plan, conduct, and evaluate the teaching. You are part of a work team where we learn from each other, plan cross-curricular work, and solve challenges together. At Fågelsångens School, we have a functioning collaboration between school and after-school care. As support in the work, student health services and school management are available.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching.
• Participate in the school's development work together with the school staff.
• Participate in work team meetings.
• Participate in collegial meetings led by the school's lead teachers.
• Work for the best possible goal achievement among our students.
• Mentorship is included in the assignment.

Qualifications

The position requires adequate teacher education. As a person, you are sensitive and have the ability to meet students with different needs. You are a clear leader in the meeting with the students and interested in developing the work. You are also flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented. We expect you to have an openness towards meeting children and adults with different backgrounds and prerequisites. Since we work in work teams, your ability to collaborate and be adaptable is very important.

• Teacher certification with qualification to teach Home Economics and Consumer Science
• Experience working as a teacher

Extent: 100%

Employment type: Permanent (probation period of 6 months applies)

Start date: 2026-08-10 or according to agreement.
