Primary Care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, along with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Health Services, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary Care is organized into 4 close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each close care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary Care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice service, youth clinic, and the close care ward Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a district nurse at a health center traditionally involves common tasks such as reception duties, telephone advice, and working in teams together with doctors and other staff. The work is also very varied, and acute tasks may occur. Depending on your educational background and interests, there may also be opportunities for specialization.
