The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, school-age education (fritidshem), primary school, upper secondary school, as well as adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees at 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Role and Responsibilities

As a teacher for school-age education (fritidshem) in grades F-3, you are a vital part of contributing to Botkyrka Municipality becoming Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop based on their unique abilities.

In your role, you conduct art education, lead smaller (or larger) teaching groups together with class teachers, and engage in meaningful and inclusive playground pedagogy. You will be part of a large work team and participate in the team's joint work with regular meetings and shared planning time. You are a team player who contributes to meaningful collegial collaboration and a good learning environment for our students. Together, we always focus on the students' social and academic development. This is not a solitary job; we collaborate across different ages and professional roles, such as teachers and the student health team.

You believe it is important to have a living values-based work that is visible in everyday life. You strive to stay updated on school issues through environmental scanning, further education, and collegial learning. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Requirements:

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary teacher for school-age education with a focus on art and who want to help develop a creative, secure, and meaningful school-age education center. You see aesthetic work processes as an important part of students' learning and development and have the ability to create teaching that sparks curiosity, creativity, and participation.

As a person, you are engaged, relationship-building, and secure in your leadership. You are an active and present pedagogue who participates in students' daily lives and sees the importance of working language-developing, relationally, and with clear structures. You have good collaboration skills and want to contribute together with colleagues to develop the operations forward.

Requirements

- Licensed primary teacher for school-age education with a focus on art

- Experience of working in school-age education or school operations

- Good ability to create secure relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues

- Ability to work language-developing and relationship-building in teaching

- Good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing

Merits

- Experience of aesthetic learning processes and creative activities

- Documented experience of teaching in school-age education

- Good character references or references from previous workplaces

- Experience of working with clarifying pedagogy, low-affective handling, and predictability, even in the play of younger school children

- Experience of working in teams and contributing to development work
