The municipality is organized into one administration with 4 sectors. The Social Services sector includes 4 operations; special housing/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, ordinary housing/personal assistance, and disability services. There are three special housing facilities in Stenungsund Municipality; Tallåsen, Hällebäck, and Pressaregården.

Here at Tallåsen, we have 13 units, of which eight are dementia-focused, three are somatic-focused, and two are geriatric psychiatric units. Tallåsen is centrally located in Stenungsund, approximately 200 meters from Stenungsund Station and about 700 meters from Stenungstorg Shopping Center.

We are a 24-hour operation run by a driven and competent team consisting of enrolled nurses, care assistants, nurses, rehabilitation staff, administrators, service personnel, and unit managers. One of our goals is to offer residents a meaningful life based on participation and their own physical abilities, where special touches and activities play a central role in everyday life.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for one to two experienced colleagues who are enrolled nurses!

As an enrolled nurse, you are an important part of the work to create a meaningful everyday life for the individual, where you look after each user's individual needs and conditions. The goal is for each user to live a dignified life and feel well-being. The working method should lead to good and secure care and support where the person achieves meaningfulness, comprehensibility, and manageability in their life situation through influence and participation.

You will work based on Contact Person schemes and implementation plans, as well as have close cooperation with other professional categories such as rehabilitation staff, nurses, and doctors. The work includes documentation and performing health and medical care tasks on delegation.

Scope of position: 80–100%
Working hours: Night shift

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an enrolled nurse education and experience in care work. Experience with BPSD and Star-marked (Stjärnmärkt) care is meritorious.

• You must have the ability to treat people in a professional manner and be sensitive to the resident's needs.
• You are calm and have a clear user focus.
• You should be able to adapt yourself and your working methods based on changed conditions and new information.
• You are skilled at motivating residents to preserve abilities and independence.
• You laugh, contribute to a good atmosphere in the work group, and contribute to positive development for the operation.
• You are innovative and dare to try new things.
• You share your knowledge with other colleagues.
• Since documentation is an important part of our work, we would like you to be able to express yourself both verbally and in writing.
• You should be familiar with current legislation and know the national guidelines for care and support.
