About the job

We are now offering PTP (Postgraduate Training in Psychology) positions, with the possibility of continued employment after licensure. Your tasks will consist of performing psychological work at a health centre under supervision, which means assessing and treating mental and behavioral-related illness based on the primary care mandate. The focus is on preventive and early interventions, based on common reasons for seeking care at a health centre. You will work based on the needs of the listed population using digital care meetings, internet and group therapy, as well as physical individual visits.

We work based on primary care-oriented methods, which include high accessibility, stepped/stratified care, and collaboration with other professions and care partners. It is important that you have an interest in working specifically within primary care, which means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavioral-related illness. This also involves working with stepped/stratified care, where interventions range from psychoeducation and advice on self-care, to guided treatment with literature or internet therapy, to group therapy or individual treatment interventions. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, the ability to vary the method and scope of treatment interventions is required.

For this PTP psychologist position at Tidaholm Health Centre, your supervisor works at Närhälsan Oden Health Centre in Falköping, where the initial introduction and supervisory responsibility will be based.

About you

• You have completed a degree in psychology with eligibility to undertake PTP training.
• You have studied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or another current direction for psychological treatment.
• You have an interest in primary care and primary care-adapted methods such as stepped/stratified care.

We are looking for someone who is receptive and accommodating, with good communication skills and the ability to identify individuals' unique needs. Through initiative and active engagement, you wish to participate in the organization's development work and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health centre.

Travel for work purposes occurs; a Class B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process
