On the Communications Department, we are 25 employees working with communication, contact center, caretaking, business affairs, destination development and tourism, local child ombudsman, citizen ombudsman, and digital accessibility. A dynamic mix of dedicated employees who all have important assignments in our municipality.

We are now looking for a Unit Manager for the Contact Center. The Contact Center is the municipality's face to the outside world, and we who work here have daily contact with employees, residents, business owners, and visitors. We are keen on ensuring that all visitors, regardless of background and circumstances, feel welcome with us.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Unit Manager for the Contact Center, you are responsible for the daily operations and lead the business with a focus on quality, working environment, and development. The assignment includes, among other things, personnel responsibility, schedule management, and budget responsibility. You currently lead nine employees who assist residents and business owners via email, phone, and physically in the municipal building reception. However, a large part of the job involves developing the municipality's entire way of working and creating a more cohesive service for residents, business owners, and visitors in collaboration with colleagues across all departments and offices in the municipality.

In connection with the renovation of the municipal building, the internal services area is also being developed, where you will play an important role in shaping and developing the business forward. Internal services will handle orders, contracts, and AV equipment, etc. As Unit Manager, you also have personnel responsibility for the three employees who will work within Internal Services.

The role involves leading change in a complex organization with many contact surfaces and interests. You need to be able to create engagement and collaborate, while also being able to make decisions, prioritize, and set boundaries when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

• A post-secondary education relevant to the role,
• Current and relevant experience working as a manager with responsibility for personnel, economy, and operations,
• Experience leading change and development work,
• Experience leading in complex organizations with many collaboration interfaces,
• Good ability to formulate yourself in Swedish in speech and writing,
• Accustomed to using IT as a system support in work.

It is meritorious if you have experience working within public operations.
