Ilmeg was founded in 1971 and is a company based on patents related to dust collection systems for rock drilling machines. Ilmeg operates globally and is a well-known brand within the construction and mining industries. Our sustainable products and services are known for their highest quality and constant value addition to our customers.

 

Ilmeg has production and offices in Nyköping but serves customers worldwide. The company is in an exciting phase with new products heading to both existing and new customers in the market. The ambition is clear – with the right leadership and commercial focus, there is potential to double the business within the next three years.

 

About the Role of CEO at Ilmeg Products AB

In the role of CEO for Ilmeg Products, you will join a thriving business with good profit margins, broad technical competence, and strong future prospects. At the same time, this is a role for you who is driven by creating growth and taking an established company to the next level.

 

As CEO, you are responsible for leading the operational and strategic work in both the short and long term, with a focus on further developing the business and driving commercial growth forward. You will play a central role in launching new products to the market, developing existing customer relationships, and establishing new customers and partners globally.

 

The company's customers are found in both the mining and construction industries on both the Swedish and international markets. Customer handling takes place close to the operations at the customers' sites, which means a significant amount of travel both within Sweden and internationally.

 

When you are not traveling, you will base yourself at Ilmeg Products' office in Nyköping, where your team currently consists of four office staff and seven production personnel. Production is described as efficient with high capacity, and the team possesses broad technical competence. As CEO, you are expected to be an present leader who inspires the organization and creates the right conditions for continued growth.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Drive Ilmeg Products' continued growth journey by further developing sales and establishing new businesses and markets.
  • Be responsible for the launch and commercialization of new products to both existing and new customers.
  • Develop and implement business strategies, activities, and budgets to achieve the company's short- and long-term goals.
  • Be a present leader with the ambition to develop the organization and create engagement within the team.

About You

To succeed in the role of CEO, you have previous experience from leadership positions such as CEO, Sales Director, or Business Development Director, where you have had overall responsibility and are accustomed to taking a holistic perspective. You have good technical understanding and experience in international sales as well as commercial work with technically complex products and machinery, preferably within the mining industry or related sectors.

 

We are looking for someone who is motivated by building companies and creating growth. You thrive in a commercial role where you work close to customers and are driven by identifying new business opportunities. You have natural drive, are accustomed to longer sales cycles, and have the ability to work long-term and strategically in your relationships and business.

 

Furthermore, we see that you are a humble and secure leader who is receptive and engaging in your way of leading others.

 

Important for the role:

  • Previous experience from leadership roles in the sale of technically complex products/machinery, preferably towards the mining industry and its subcontractors.
  • Experience of international relations and sales.
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience in driving growth and developing businesses.
  • Opportunity and willingness to travel for work, both nationally and internationally.
  • Good technical understanding and insight into product development.
  • Fluent language skills in Swedish and English.

Meritorious:

  • Previous work experience from manufacturing industry.
