About the Department

The Care Administration is responsible for care and support in ordinary and special housing, as well as for individuals in need of municipal health care. The goal is for the elderly to live as active and independent a life as possible. The guiding principle in our work is a health-promoting approach, where we highly value teamwork. The administration has approximately 700 employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a vacation substitute or hourly employed assistant nurse/care assistant within Nybro Municipality, you work to support and develop our clients in their daily lives so they can live as independently as possible. No two days are alike, and your workday varies depending on our clients' needs.

Your main tasks involve supporting the client in their daily life with personal care, cleaning, meals, and social interaction. You will also document your various interventions.

Within Nybro Municipality, there are several different units to work in. You may work either in a special housing facility or with clients who live at home but need support in their daily lives. If you have specific preferences regarding which facility or location you would like to work in, please state this in your application. Solo work is included.

Qualifications

No previous work experience is required, but for some positions, primarily within home care, a B-class driver's license is required. We place great importance on personal suitability as you will play a significant role in our clients' daily lives.
