Your workplace

Skåre Health Centre is located a convenient bike ride from Karlstad city center, beautifully situated along the Klarälven river, with good bus connections. We have just under 9,000 registered patients and meet a diverse patient group, from families with children to middle-aged and elderly individuals.

We are proud of our health center, which is run by district nurses, trainee doctors, registered nurses, counselors, psychologists, auxiliary nurses, healthcare administrators, and podiatrists. Your responsibilities

In the role of district nurse/registered nurse, you are offered a meaningful and varied job where you work both independently and in a team. You have your own clinic, are responsible for the assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients, and work with telephone advice. The work includes both planned and urgent visits, and you collaborate with other professions to meet the patients' needs.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse/registered nurse, preferably with further education in diabetes (15 hp) or asthma/COPD (15 hp), but this is not a requirement.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We are looking for you who have good cooperation skills and thrive working in a team, while also being self-reliant and confident in taking own responsibility. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively. We also value your flexibility and your ability to adapt to changing situations. A good attitude is crucial, and you have a professional and respectful attitude towards patients, relatives, and colleagues. In addition, we see that you have an interest in continuing and developing our operations together with us.
