We are now looking for a new physiotherapist to join our team at the newly established SportRehab Lindholmen, starting as soon as possible.

We are looking for you who want to help develop how we work with sports medicine rehabilitation. You thrive working in primary care, seeing patients of all ages and activity levels, from everyday active individuals and hobbyists to elite athletes. You want to work evidence-based and continue developing in your clinical practice. Experience from primary care and academic further education are meritorious. Engagement in sports and club activities is also seen as a positive attribute.

The position is a fixed-term employment with a high chance of extension. We have a collective agreement.

A typical workday at SportRehab

Your main responsibility is the rehabilitation of patients within the Vårdval Rehab program in Västra Götaland (Primary Care). SportRehab accepts patients of all ages who have experienced symptoms, pain, and/or functional impairment. We primarily see patients who wish to return to their previous level of physical activity or sport. We also collaborate with a large and growing number of sports clubs across various disciplines.

We believe in making it easy for our employees to focus on patient care. Therefore, we are at the forefront with our electronic health record systems and other resources that facilitate administration. We also have a well-developed system for efficient follow-up using scientifically validated questionnaires and tests. The operations manager and receptionist/administrator are on-site daily to provide support and assistance.

You will receive extensive support for further education within physiotherapy and sports medicine. SportRehab has developed structured development ladders for both clinical work and academic further education, with the ambition to provide our employees with the best conditions for evidence-based development in rehabilitation. Seven doctoral dissertations have been presented from SportRehab, and six more are underway. We offer continuous staff training and team discussions to broaden our employees' competencies. We hold a number of open courses on sports medicine rehabilitation every year.

About SportRehab Lindholmen

SportRehab Lindholmen was launched on May 4th, located in a prime spot on Lindholmspiren in large, bright, newly renovated premises with high ceilings. Currently, seven physiotherapists, an occupational therapist, an administrator, and an operations manager work here. We have a brand new, large gym featuring, among other things, an AlterG treadmill coming soon, well-developed testing equipment, and a large, open area for jumping and running drills. We collaborate with several of the major sports clubs on Hisingen, meaning you will meet many young, active patients if you work with us.
