We are now looking for a Specialist Assistant Nurse (Specialistundersköterska) for a completely new role within our operations. This is a unique opportunity for you who want to take great responsibility, develop working methods, and contribute to increased quality in care. As a Specialist Assistant Nurse, you will be an important resource for both our care recipients and your colleagues through method guidance, support, and knowledge dissemination.

You will develop the role of Specialist Assistant Nurse with us at Home Care Tynnered. We want you to primarily work with people who have difficulties in their daily lives due to dementia, palliative care, or psychiatric issues. You will be a significant part of the work with unit deviations and the learning connected to them. You will enhance the competence of and guide colleagues in the care of specific care recipients who have difficulties in their daily lives falling within your specialist area. You apply situation-based guidance at the care recipient's home, where the meeting with the care recipient is in focus. You design and develop the service together with the manager and colleagues at the unit. The premises and needs of the operation guide the work.

About You

You will work at the care recipients' homes with standard tasks for assistant nurses within home care. You identify potential needs and raise them within the operation. As a Specialist Assistant Nurse in home care, you work independently and in teams, with a respectful and attentive approach. You adapt your working style and communication to the individual's needs, encourage participation, and can quickly adjust when conditions change.

There will be allocated time for you to work on the part of your specialist assignment that is not part of regular assistant nurse duties. You will work on a schedule based on a working time standard of 38.25 hours per week. Work on weekends and evenings is included.

Requirements

• Educated as a Specialist Assistant Nurse with at least 200 YH credits that the employer deems relevant for the position.
• Work experience within healthcare and social care.
• Since we document and communicate in Swedish, you must be able to speak and write Swedish.
• At our organization, you must be able to cycle to get between care recipients.

Meritorious but not a requirement

• Education focused on care and support for the elderly, dementia, and psychiatry.
• Work experience within mental health issues or dementia.
• Experience in method guidance.
• Hold a B-class driver's license.
