About the role

As an employee, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are currently looking for a retail sales assistant for our garden department.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that customers can complete their projects successfully.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the garden product range.
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsibility for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring within the department.
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Assist on other departments when needed.

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience or education in gardening.
• Passion for offering our customers the best possible service.
• Enable customers to realize their projects through professional advice on our wide product range.
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Merits if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4).

Working hours/Duration: Permanent. Part-time, 6 hours/week. Scheduled working hours 12 hours every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.

Start date: June 22, 2026.
