We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Norra Hisingen!

Do you want to work in a setting where you make a real difference every day – alongside knowledgeable and committed colleagues? We are now seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our wonderful team in the Norra Hisingen district!

Here, you will meet patients with varying rehabilitation needs, offering you a varied and developmental role where you constantly have the opportunity to broaden your skills and learn new things together with the team.

We provide municipal primary care and are responsible for rehabilitation for people living in ordinary housing as well as in care and nursing homes. Our work is characterized by a person-centered approach where the patient's resources, participation, and individual goals are in focus. Together with the patient, you work to create the best possible conditions for independence and quality of life in everyday life.

In the role of Occupational Therapist, you will among other things:

  • Perform assessments, treatments, and follow-ups
  • Supervise care staff and delegate rehabilitation measures
  • Prescribe and trial medical technical aids
  • Work closely with patients, relatives, and other professions in teams

You will become part of a work group with broad competence, good camaraderie, and great engagement. Here, there are excellent opportunities to develop in your professional role through training in areas such as transfer techniques, dementia diseases, BPSD, palliative care, as well as the opportunity to train as a VFU supervisor. We also offer the possibility to audit within the profession.

Additionally, Silvergruvan Care and Nursing Home is an academic care and nursing home where research and learning are a natural part of the operations.

We believe in the strength of collaboration and work closely together with physiotherapists, nurses, care staff, unit managers, social secretaries, and relatives to create the best possible rehabilitation for our patients.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist. Experience in rehabilitation work and/or work in municipal primary care is meritorious. For the position, good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and a B driving license are required.

We place great emphasis on good treatment and your personal qualities. You are engaged, responsible, and confident in your professional role. With a professional, respectful, and attentive approach, you build trust in meetings with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You have a person-centered working method and see the individual's needs and resources.

You have the ability to work independently and make your own decisions while enjoying collaborating in teams and contributing to common goals. You understand the importance of the common mission and contribute through your engagement and collaboration skills to both the work group and the development of the operations.
