Psychologist for Nordmala Health Centre – Temporary Position

The South Primary Care area consists of the health centers in Tegs, Hörnefors, and Nordmala. This position is based at the Nordmala Health Centre.

At the Nordmala Health Centre, you will work in a well-functioning team and join a workplace with a big heart and strong cohesion. Our goal is to provide our approximately 6,000 registered patients with engaged care and a welcoming attitude.

Job Responsibilities

As a psychologist with us, you will contribute to the psychosocial work at the health center, primarily through targeted psychological treatments.

As part of your role, you will be included in our psychosocial team alongside an occupational therapist and a nurse. You will work with children and adults with mild to moderate mental health issues. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to developing working methods that promote health, patient safety, accessibility, and a good work environment. You will contribute to good collaboration between psychologists and other professional groups regarding common cases.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have education in, and an interest in, working with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as a method. Experience and a genuine interest in working with child and adolescent cases are meritorious; we handle these in the psychosocial team through collaboration with other agencies, psychological treatment, and parental support. We preferably see that you also have experience in assessing and treating adults, as well as conducting treatments within the framework of primary care.

You are flexible, self-reliant, and proactive. You thrive in team settings and appreciate the collegial collaboration it entails. You understand the flow, working style, and pace required for psychologists in primary care. Therefore, primary care experience is meritorious.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
