About the Work
The Clinic for Young People's Mental Health (UPH) is tasked with providing early and adequate care for children and adolescents with mental health issues and their guardians. In your role as a psychotherapist at UPH, you are responsible for psychosocial care and therapeutic conversations focusing on mental health with children, young people, and their parents. Psychoeducational interventions are an important part of our operations. Collaboration with others involved in the children's lives is very central to our workplace.
You express yourself well in writing, which is an important part of our work with assessments, evaluations, and referral letters. You work in a structured manner and thrive with both independent tasks and teamwork. Our operations cover interventions both individually and in groups – something you see as a natural and valuable part of your assignment.
We work based on primary care-oriented approaches, where the work includes high accessibility, stepped/stratified care, and collaboration with other professions and neighboring care providers. It is important that you have an interest in working in a primary care-oriented manner, which means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavioral health issues.
About You
You are a licensed psychotherapist with a basic degree as a social worker. You have at least one year of clinical experience with children and young people with mental health issues. Previous experience from working within primary care, as well as other areas relevant to our target group, is meritorious.
We are looking for someone with a listening and accommodating attitude, with good communication skills and the ability to perceive each individual's unique needs. You are confident in your professional role and easily create trusting relationships with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
Through initiative and active engagement, you want to participate in the organization's development work and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health centre. We also expect you to live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Considerate, and Innovative.
