Who we are looking for
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with good knowledge of the Swedish language. You should have completed the emergency care course (200 credits) or according to the new curriculum, health and care 1 and 2. Experience from working in a urological or surgical ward is an advantage.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are stable and composed in stressful situations, flexible, and adaptable. You are engaged, driven, and have good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to create a positive work climate. A service-oriented attitude and patient focus are also important traits.
Job Responsibilities
The work as a nursing assistant on the ward is both developmental and challenging, with a broad and varied patient group. On Ward 51, we care for surgical, urological, and ENT (ear, nose, and throat) patients. We receive acute patients around the clock but also have scheduled surgeries. Your tasks include general patient care as well as qualified tasks such as drain management, wound care, sample collection, patient education, risk assessments, and documentation in the medical record system.
Ward 51 is a surgical and urological ward belonging to the General Surgery/Urology area and Division Länssjukvård 2. We focus on continuous competence development and training. The work environment is a high priority, and we have implemented scheduled competence development with a program for each scheduling period. We are a supportive team striving to provide the best possible care.

Information about the position
We offer you a permanent full-time position with shifts scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
