Tälje Upper Secondary School is Södertälje Municipality's largest municipal upper secondary school, with approximately 650 students distributed across our various programs: NA, TE, EK, SAM, IB (International Baccalaureate), SPV, and IA (Individual Alternative). We are now looking for an engaged teacher in Philosophy and Social Studies for a substitute position at 80%. You will be substituting for a teacher who is going on study leave for one year.

Your responsibilities

• Teach Philosophy and Social Studies on university-preparatory programs.
• Teach Theory of Knowledge on the IB program (equivalent to Philosophy).
• Supervise students in their upper secondary school projects.
• Participate in collegial collaboration within subject groups and work teams.

• The ability to build trusting relationships with students.

Requirements:

• Qualification to teach Philosophy and Social Studies at the upper secondary level.
• Experience teaching Philosophy and Social Studies at the upper secondary level.

• Experience teaching Theory of Knowledge on the IB program.
• Experience working in international or multicultural school environments.
