Södertörns Gymnasium is now seeking a qualified upper secondary school teacher in Psychology and Sociology.

We are looking for you who are a skilled teacher and leader, interested in development and integration, and excellent at collaboration. You must hold upper secondary school teacher qualifications (gymnasielärare) with subject competence in Psychology and Sociology.

You have an exceptional level of commitment and drive. You are a clear leader who creates a sense of security and serves as a role model for your students. You teach in an inspiring way and engage with students and their goals through a coaching approach. As a person, you are creative and open to new ideas and feedback. You are loyal, attentive, and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Additional subject qualifications at the upper secondary level are considered a merit.

The position is 50% of a full-time role. Start date: 2026-08-10.

Your responsibilities

In the role of a teacher, you are responsible for creating an exceptional upper secondary school environment where students and parents are satisfied with both the teaching and the school as a whole. Your task is to motivate and give every student the opportunity to develop and succeed.

Tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Teach Psychology and Sociology.
• Motivate and guide students toward good academic results, goal achievement, and knowledge development. Monitor student progress, academic results, and attendance.
• Actively contribute to the school's overall development and take responsibility for ensuring the organization meets its goals.
