Join our team: Dedicated Study and Career Counselor for two of our schools in Sollentuna

Location: Dibber International School Sollentuna (40%) and Silverbäcken Dibber, Sollentuna (40%)

We are now looking for a dedicated and professional Study and Career Counselor at 80%, split between Dibber International School Sollentuna (40%) and Silverbäcken Dibber (40%).

- Dibber International School Sollentuna is a bilingual preschool to year 9 school located near Norrviken Lake and the commuter train, where the Swedish curriculum is combined with IB pedagogical methods in an international setting.

- Silverbäcken Dibber is a preschool to year 9 school in Silverdal, Sollentuna, with approximately 500 students, a family atmosphere, a focus on safety and study environment, and a profile that includes outdoor pedagogy.

About the role:

As a Study and Career Counselor, you will work closely with students, guardians, educators, and school leadership at both schools. You will play a key role in guiding students in their future academic and career choices, while contributing to strengthening students' self-awareness, motivation, and hope for the future.

Responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for study and career guidance for students at both schools.
• Informing and guiding students regarding upper secondary school choices and future educational paths.
• Supporting students and guardians with questions regarding eligibility, choices, and future planning.
• Collaborating with school leadership, mentors, student health services, and other staff.
• Contributing to the development of the schools' work with study and career guidance as a whole-school responsibility.
• Planning and implementing information campaigns, counseling sessions, and activities related to future studies and working life.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Study and Career Counseling.
• Experience working as a Study and Career Counselor in primary/lower secondary school is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish education system and upper secondary school admissions.
• Strong ability to work in a structured, independent, and relationship-building manner.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
