Blackebergsskolan is located in a beautiful natural area in Bromma, close to water, nature, and good transport links. The school has just under 390 students in grades F-6. We work purposefully to constantly improve our operations with a focus on pedagogical work in the classroom as well as the development of after-school centers. We participate in both large and small teaching-related research-based projects and have close collaboration within our work teams.

Job Responsibilities

The position is a temporary substitute role starting on August 10, 2026, and ending on February 16, 2026, for music education in grades 1–6.

In addition to teaching music, the music teacher is also responsible for end-of-term celebrations related to the winter and summer holidays, as well as other "happenings" such as the Lucia celebration and the start of the school year. Help with these arrangements is always available, both within the practical-aesthetic work team as well as among the different grade-level teams and in the various after-school centers.

The music room is well-equipped with full-class setups as well as smaller ensemble setups, including electric drums, guitars, and keyboards. There is also access to full-class setups of ukuleles and boomwhackers.

We work purposefully with joint professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed music teacher for grades 1–6.

You have a good ability to assess how effective different teaching strategies are and adapt your teaching accordingly. You incorporate results from current research and development work and view collegial learning as a natural starting point for creating new and deeper knowledge. You work well with other people and appreciate close collaboration based on mutual respect and sensitivity. You are flexible and constructive in your communication and focus on goals and results. You adapt your way of conveying your message depending on the recipient's prerequisites. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
