Attendo Vårdbo is a small residential facility with 33 apartments spread across 4 wards: 3 dementia wards and 1 somatic ward.
We are looking for you who are driven by working with people and making a real difference for our residents every day. You have the ability to empower and support residents in all aspects of their daily lives.
As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with our residents and their next of kin. You collaborate easily, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.
Job Description
This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period on our somatic ward. The shifts include days (07:00–14:00 or 08:00–15:00) and evenings (14:00–20:00 or 15:00–21:00), as well as every other weekend according to a rolling 4-week schedule.
As a nursing assistant, your main task is to work with the care of our residents. Light cleaning and cooking duties are also included. You should be able to work both in a team and independently. We work in teams with nursing assistants, nurses, rehab staff, group managers, and operations managers.
We have new residents who need care and are now expanding our friendly team of employees with more nursing assistants.
We are looking for you with a nursing assistant education and experience in care work.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Professional certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or proof of a pending application.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
- Good computer skills.
- Experience with documentation according to the Social Services Act (SoL).
- Previous experience with medication delegation is meritorious.
- Experience in elderly care.
- We prefer that you live in Vallentuna or a nearby municipality, as public transport connections can sometimes be difficult.
- Requirement that your CV and cover letter are written by you and not generated by AI.
