About the Company
Spendrups is a Swedish family-owned brewery in its fourth generation, with over 100 years of history and approximately 1,100 employees across Sweden. From our breweries, we produce well-known brands such as Norrlands Guld, Mariestads, Loka, and Briska, and we are constantly working on developing new products. Quality, innovation, and passion permeate everything we do, while we actively take responsibility for the environment and sustainability. With short decision-making paths and a strong entrepreneurial drive, we continue to develop the company – with the goal of being a world-class brewery.
Your Responsibilities
Do you want a role where you take overall responsibility, make your own decisions, and truly make an impact? Spendrups is now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for a key role responsible for the entire electrical infrastructure, with a clear mandate to drive development forward.
This is a role for you who thrives with freedom under responsibility and is motivated by taking initiative and owning your tasks. At Spendrups, you will become the obvious expert in the organization, in an environment where decision-making paths are short and your competence makes a real difference.
You are responsible for the electrical infrastructure, based in Grängesberg, with responsibility also for facilities in Hällefors and Gotland. The role involves overall responsibility for the technical status, where you monitor facilities, switchgear, and capacity while driving long-term investments and development initiatives. You work both operationally and strategically with energy issues and future needs.
As the Electrical Safety Officer, you are responsible for the self-control program and ensure that the right competence, delegations, and training are in place. You are also an expert in electrical matters and a natural contact point for authorities, energy companies, and other external parties.
The role also involves work on larger investment projects related to electricity and energy. You collaborate with the organization but work independently and with significant responsibility for prioritizing and driving your tasks to completion.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is confident in their competence and has experience working with electrical infrastructure, preferably within the industry. You have a good understanding of high voltage and are authorized with both A and AL licenses. The most important thing is that you have the experience and knowledge required to take a holistic approach to the role. You are accustomed to navigating regulations and have a natural ability to translate requirements into functioning structures within the business.
As a person, you are self-reliant, driven, and proactive. You thrive in a role where you are given great trust, where you structure your own work, and where you have the opportunity to make a real impact.
Spendrups offers a central and autonomous role in a family-owned company with a strong brand and short decision-making paths. Here, you have the opportunity to shape both your daily work and the future electrical infrastructure – with great responsibility and equally great trust.
