Kerstinsås Elderly Care Home is located in Essunga Municipality. The facility is situated in central Nossebro, close to both shops and nature.

Kerstinsås consists of three departments, a restaurant, a pharmacy, and a health center. The municipality's nurses, rehabilitation staff, and home care services are all based at Kerstinsås.

We are now looking for two dedicated assistant nurses for Vallmo who want a developing and flexible job within elderly care.

Vallmo is our department that offers both permanent housing and short-term care. The department consists of 15 apartments.

We offer varying working hours between 07:00–22:00 and every other weekend.

Start date: According to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

Our greatest focus is the user and individual value. The work takes place in close collaboration with other professions such as nurses, rehabilitation staff, unit manager, and social worker. You are expected to be able to work independently in collaboration with others.

We work with contact person/fixed care contact and implementation plans. We are in the process of launching BPSD and Senior Alert to provide individual care and quality assurance based on the user's needs. Care and licensed staff work in teams and have regular team/quality meetings.

Medication management and documentation in LifeCare are part of the daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an assistant nurse with experience from elderly care and short-term care for the elderly. If you have experience with BPSD and are interested in digital solutions, it is an advantage. Further education as a supervisor is meritorious.

It is important that you have a strong user focus and enjoy working in a person-centered way. You need to be able to see the big picture from each person's individual needs. We see that you are flexible in your approach and can adapt to daily work. Good treatment and good communication are a matter of course, just as you want to contribute to creating a good working environment and a good day for everyone who stays in our short-term care facility.

You must master the Swedish language in speech and writing.

You must be able to master digital technology.
