Description

The Healthcare Pharmacy VGR Skaraborg Hospital (SkaS) is part of the regional Healthcare Pharmacy VGR and is responsible for the county's consolidated pharmaceutical work. Here, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and dispensing pharmacists work together to create a safe, efficient, and well-functioning drug supply for healthcare. Our mandate includes responsibility for drug supply, medication management, assortment work, information, and education in close collaboration with healthcare operations. The unit is also responsible for the production of extemporaneous medicines and cytostatics for healthcare units, and we also conduct work with clinical pharmacy in several healthcare units.

We are now looking for a dispensing pharmacist in Skövde who wants to help develop the future drug supply and work closely with both colleagues and healthcare operations. Here, you will have a varied role with the opportunity to contribute to quality, development, and patient safety in an operation that is of great importance to healthcare every day.

Responsibilities

In this role, you work closely with both healthcare operations and other functions within the Healthcare Pharmacy. Together, you contribute to an efficient drug supply, high quality in medication management, and patient-safe care.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the operation and development of the hospital's drug storage – PNL (Patient Near Storage) and VNL (Care Near Storage).
• Contribute to the development and quality assurance of medication management and drug supply.
• Participate in the daily operation of inpatient dosing.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed dispensing pharmacist. You are welcome to have a few years of professional experience, and previous experience in drug supply work is an advantage.

Since the area is constantly developing, it is important that you are flexible, engaged, and confident in working independently. We also value that you want to contribute to improvements and see opportunities in change.

You should:

• Have good ability to collaborate in teams with several professional groups.
• Easily establish good relationships and new contacts with colleagues, managers, and partners within the pharmaceutical field.
• See opportunities for improvement in daily work and have a genuine interest in development work and quality issues.
• Have good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
• Have a strong commitment to issues regarding medication management and good familiarity with common digital tools, e.g., Word and Excel.
