Job Description

We are currently looking for extra staff for the Event Production unit at Stockholmsmässan. The unit specializes in building, furnishing, and decorating meeting rooms and exhibition stands.

Stockholmsmässan is a large workplace where many different professional groups often work in parallel. During certain periods, the pace is fast, especially during move-in and move-out phases. Therefore, it is important that you, as an applicant, are stress-resistant and have good collaboration skills. You are helpful and always provide a positive attitude regardless of the situation, both towards customers and colleagues. When late orders or changes come in, you must be flexible and tackle tasks with a positive mindset. You need good physical fitness to handle longer shifts and heavier tasks.

Employment is with Randstad, but you will perform your duties at Stockholmsmässan.

The assignment can vary in scope, including part-time, daytime, evenings, and weekends. We schedule your shifts together based on your availability.

Responsibilities

• Internal transport and delivery of furniture and exhibition materials
• Building exhibition walls, stages, and performing simple carpentry work
• Assembling, furnishing, and decorating stands, meeting rooms, and public areas
• Handling production documents, blueprints, and generating orders from the order system
• Warehouse work
• Participating in the repair, maintenance, and inventory of Event Production equipment and materials

Qualifications

• High school education
• Valid driver's license (Class AM)
• Fluent in Swedish (speaking and writing)

The following are considered meritorious:

• Experience in similar roles, preferably from the exhibition or event industry
• Experience interpreting blueprints
• Forklift license (A1-4, B1) and lift license are meritorious
