Frökontrollen delivers fast, high-quality analyses to the agricultural sector and is the first choice for both seed producers and farmers. For you with an interest in agriculture and laboratory environments, here is a unique opportunity to take on the role of Laboratory Technician!

About the role

Frökontrollen is an established and stable company with a strong customer focus and high responsiveness. They play a vital link in the Swedish food supply and are currently in an exciting phase. The organization is flat with short decision-making paths and close, non-hierarchical collaboration among all employees – laboratory staff, administration, and the CEO.

We are now looking for you who have an interest in natural sciences, biology, or agriculture and want to join a workplace where you become part of an engaged team in a laboratory setting. Here you get the chance to step right into the core of the operations and contribute to the laboratory's continued development through new knowledge and valuable experience sharing.

What we offer

  • A unique opportunity to learn more about food supply
  • Collective agreement, wellness allowance, and various social activities such as After Works, summer, and Christmas parties
  • A varied work environment with station-based rotation, meaning you will work with several different parts of the analysis chain
  • Good long-term development opportunities

Responsibilities

The workday begins with joint morning meetings where the day's tasks are distributed. To create variation and broaden competencies, the team rotates regularly between different stations in the laboratory. The work is process-driven and requires the ability to carefully absorb and work according to established manuals.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Registration of new samples
  • Laboratory analysis work
  • Quality and development work
  • Digital documentation and result reporting of analyses performed

We are looking for you who

  • Probably have an education in environment, biology, or similar natural science field
  • Have practical experience from analysis or laboratory work
  • Have good computer literacy and feel comfortable quickly getting into new digital systems and tools
  • Have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as the role requires you to independently read, understand, and apply complex manuals and instructions

It is an advantage if you have

  • Previous experience in process- and quality-controlled work

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • Adaptable
  • Stress-resistant
  • Organized
  • Responsible
