Job Description
We are currently seeking a District Nurse/Child Health Nurse to work at the Child Health Center (BVC). There are currently approximately 850–900 registered children at the BVC. The work involves a varied workflow, and we are always open to development and new insights. You will work independently but with close collaboration and support from two other BVC nurses.
Your Responsibilities
Working at the BVC means working according to the Child Health Program, with the aim of promoting children's health, security, and development. This requires collaboration with various professions at the health center, as well as external partners such as child health psychologists, speech therapists, social services, and the municipality.
Monitoring children's health and development takes place through home visits, scheduled appointments, and team visits, such as at the doctor's clinic. We also lead parent groups and provide daily telephone advice.
Your Qualifications
- You are a licensed District Nurse or Child Health Nurse, preferably with previous experience working at a health center and/or BVC/family center.
- You must have good planning skills, as you will lead and plan much of your own work.
- You must be collaborative and flexible.
- Personal suitability is highly valued.
- A valid Class B driver's license is required.
