Bagaregatan Health Centre is a well-established and smoothly functioning facility located in central Nyköping. Currently, we have approximately 50 employees and over 13,000 registered patients of all ages. Our financial stability over the years has contributed to a sense of security for our staff.

About the Position

We are now looking for a District Nurse/Child Health Nurse with a placement at the Child Health Centre (BVC). Currently, there are approximately 850–900 registered children at the BVC. The work at the BVC involves a varied workflow, and we are always open to development and staying updated with new practices. You will work independently but with close collaboration and support from two other BVC nurses.

Your Responsibilities

Working at the BVC means working according to the Child Health Care Programme, with the aim of promoting children's health, security, and development. This involves collaborating with various professions at the health centre, as well as externally with professionals such as child health psychologists, speech therapists, social services, and the municipality.

The work of monitoring children's health and development takes place through home visits, scheduled appointments, and team visits, for example, to the doctor's office. We also lead parent groups and provide daily telephone advice.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed District Nurse or Child Health Nurse, preferably with previous experience working at a health centre and/or BVC/family centre. You need to have good planning skills, as much of your work is led and planned by you. Naturally, you must also be good at collaborating and flexible. Personal suitability is of great importance.

A valid Category B driving license is required.

Employment Terms

Permanent position. Full-time or part-time. Start date by agreement.
