About the department

The Infectious Diseases Clinic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital is an exciting and dynamic workplace where we combine infectious disease care, research, teaching, and development. We have a total of 56 care beds distributed across four inpatient wards, an infectious disease outpatient clinic, and a comprehensive consulting service.

Ward 303 has 10 beds where we treat general infectious disease patients, as well as children, pregnant women, and new mothers in need of infectious disease care. In addition to our inpatient services, we have 6 day-care beds on the ward (IK Nära) that allow our patients to be at home during their medication treatment. As a nurse assistant with us, you will meet patients of all ages with a wide variety of care needs during their stay. You work closely with the patient, which requires that you have a strong interest in people and the ability to understand the patient's situation and needs.

About you

We are looking for you who are a qualified nurse assistant with work experience from inpatient care, preferably from emergency care, infectious disease care, and/or pediatric care. As a person, you have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset. You have a good approach towards both patients and colleagues and thereby contribute to a good work environment. Since we work closely together with other colleagues, good teamwork skills are important. Furthermore, we want you to see the big picture, be proactive, and have the ability to prioritize when the work requires it.
