About Us

At the health centre in Färgelanda, approximately 25 employees work with the goal of providing professional service and care. Färgelanda is located in southern Dalsland, making it easy to commute by bus or car to places such as Uddevalla, Vänersborg, and Trollhättan. At the health centre, we care for each other, enjoy our work, and develop professionally. The medical team currently consists of three specialists in general practice and one ST (specialization) doctor.

At Närhälsan Färgelanda health centre, we want to promote innovation, development, and research. Here lies the region's and the country's only testbed for primary care. In the testbed, healthcare staff develop new technology and new working methods together with stakeholders in healthcare, such as the business community, Närhälsan, VGR, and academia. The testbed aims to drive healthcare development forward by creating innovative products, services, and working methods adapted to the context and needs of primary care. About the Job

Your duties at the health centre cover a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You work independently and with variety in outpatient care. Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist who offers you support and knowledge exchange. You will have dedicated time for your own studies. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. About You

• You are a licensed physician with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare.
• You have an interest in primary care and in undertaking ST (specialization) training in general practice.
• You have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

Other Information

• Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
• The position is a temporary assignment of 6 months, with possible extension and ST (specialization) training.
• If you trained as a doctor abroad and have not completed AT (internship) in Sweden to obtain a medical license, you are subject to the new regulations regarding Bastjänstgöring (Basic Service) from July 1, 2021. Basic Service for Doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of specialization training under the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
