Workplace Description

Fruängens School is a comprehensive school (grades 1–9) with 600 students in regular and adapted basic education. The school is located adjacent to Fruängen Center with good access to public transport – subway and bus. The area is characterized by housing from the 1950s and 60s, but new residential areas have also been added in recent years.

The school consists of six buildings around a large schoolyard with pines and large areas for play and movement. The classrooms are modern and offer an stimulating environment.

We are approximately 100 employees with long combined experience and high competence, and a great interest in developing our joint work.

Job Description

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 4–6.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with broad subject expertise and experience. You will teach in grade 6 this autumn. You are responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation of the teaching and collaborate with your colleagues. You are creative and have a good ability to meet and challenge students in their learning and growth. You have good collaboration skills and can adapt to different conditions.

If you are a demonstrably skilled teacher who has worked with various development projects, there will be an opportunity to apply for a lead teacher position later in the school year.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher, qualified for grades 4–6. You have teacher certification and qualification to teach in Swedish, Social Studies (SO), and English, but other subject qualifications are meritorious.

If you are a newly graduated teacher, you are entitled to a mentor during your first year, the induction period.
