Nurse for the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic in Gävle

The Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic in Gävle investigates and treats diseases throughout the entire ear, nose, and throat area. We provide both scheduled physician consultations and emergency services, and perform surgeries at the clinic, the day surgery unit, and central surgery. At our workplace, physicians, nurses, scrub nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together to provide our patients with the best possible care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you play a central role in creating a safe and efficient patient flow in accordance with our routines and guidelines. You work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment with varied tasks that provide both breadth and development opportunities. The position is primarily located at the ENT clinic, but also includes 20% rotation to a chosen ward, giving you the opportunity to further broaden your competence.

Main Responsibilities

• Telephone advice
• Involvement in the clinic's surgical activities
• Assisting physicians during examinations
• Assisting physicians during certain types of surgeries
• Involvement in the tracheostomy team

Previous experience in clinic work is meritorious. Previous experience in surgical care is also an advantage.
