We are looking for you who want to work as an assistant nurse at Granliden Care and Residential Home, on the dementia unit, in Southwestern Gothenburg.

In your work, you start from the resident's strengths and utilize the individual's resources. You support the resident in formulating their needs and wishes. You also motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual conditions in their own home, which is part of the care and residential home.

The duties include personal care, support around mealtimes, encouragement and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives and other actors. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel. When you work with us, you are responsible for quality-assured care and support.

Granliden Care and Residential Home has a unique location in Hovås with views of both a golf course and the sea. The surroundings are green and it is a quiet area. There are good transport links via public transport. We offer housing for general care and support and for residents with dementia. In total, there are 73 apartments. At Granliden, we have smaller units with 12–13 apartments, and we also offer the possibility of cohabitation.

About you

Requirements:

• You are trained as an assistant nurse and can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for the protected professional title, or alternatively show that you were employed as an assistant nurse when the new rules were introduced.
• You have previous experience from care and support work.
• You have good computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.

Merits:

• You have experience working with people with dementia as well as experience with BPSD and Stjärnmärkt (Star-marked).
• You have further education within care and support.
