Description

Rikstens School is now looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications in Spanish, Swedish, and Swedish as a Second Language for the lower secondary school (grades 7-9). You will have the opportunity to plan and develop your teaching together with skilled and driven subject colleagues in a collegial learning environment in the 7-9 unit.

In your role, you conduct teaching and related tasks such as preparation and follow-up of lessons, as well as grading. You are part of a work team and participate in the team's joint work. You contribute to a good learning environment through active work in a collegial collaboration. Together, you focus on the students' knowledge development. You also collaborate with other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's work on values and work inclusively.

Mentorship is a central part of your role through social contacts regarding students and classes, contact with guardians, absence management, and development conferences. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team.

As an employee here, you are an ambassador for the school.

Rikstens School is a relatively new, airy, and fresh school located in Rikstens Friluftsstad, Tullinge. We opened in autumn 2013 and have operations from preschool class up to grade 9, with approximately 800 students and 100 employees.

Rikstens School has a well-functioning student health service where school leadership, school healthcare, and special needs educators collaborate closely with the school's other educators. We are divided into work teams based on grade levels, and these form a unit for the stage. The work team and the unit you belong to provide significant support for the individual educator.

Our school is located next to the Lida Outdoor Area, and we have the opportunity to conduct activities outdoors.

Who you are

You are a certified primary school teacher in Spanish and Swedish (qualification in Swedish as a Second Language is meritorious).

You are a driven, curious educator who gladly takes on challenges and tries new ideas. The position requires you to be a clear leader who creates a secure learning environment for your students, where mutual respect and collaboration permeate your teaching.
