About us

The Automation Department is part of the maintenance organization, which has approximately 80 employees and is responsible for maintenance at our brewery in Grängesberg. The department performs, on behalf of its customers, everything from emergency to preventive maintenance and also drives projects and improvements. The department, with its 17 employees, is responsible for all electrical and automation-related maintenance in production and covers the departments media, beer process, preparation, and bottling.

In the role of Automation Technician, you will work with both corrective and preventive maintenance. You will work across the entire brewery, and shift work may be part of the role.

Examples of tasks include:

• Troubleshooting
• Maintenance of machine and process equipment
• Upgrading machines, replacing PLCs and HMIs
• Reporting completed work in our maintenance system
• Optimization of existing controls/machines

Requirements

• Upper secondary education with a focus on electrical and/or automation
• Good computer skills and the ability to easily understand technical documentation
• Good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing, as you will have contact with both Swedish and foreign suppliers in this role.

Merits

• Experience from maintenance in the process industry
• Experience working with Siemens Step7, TIA, and WinCC or similar
• Experience with Profinet and other bus systems
• Experience with drive systems
