Are you interested in a stimulating, varied, and independent role at Samrehab Acute Unit? We are looking for a physiotherapist with competence and interest in lymphatic therapy.

The workplace is located at Västervik Hospital. In the lymphatic therapy role, which constitutes the majority of the position, you will work in inpatient wards and with outpatient care. The work arrangement is adapted based on medical needs and the patient's conditions. This may involve joint visits with other healthcare providers on or off the hospital premises. You will work independently but also be an important part of multidisciplinary teams. Your physiotherapy expertise is utilized in your daily work as a lymphatic therapist and contributes to the ward's operations together with your colleagues.

We want to ensure you have a good start in your new role. We offer mentorship, and the introduction is planned and carried out together with experienced colleagues. Your working hours are scheduled during daytime on weekdays. Travel may be required for this position.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with competence equivalent to a medical lymphatic therapist. You have a warm approach and good collaboration skills, are flexible in your working style, take responsibility, and contribute to a good and healthy work environment. Previous experience as a lymphatic therapist or as a physiotherapist within inpatient care is considered an advantage. Personal suitability is highly valued.

You will be part of a work group consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We collaborate closely with other units within Samrehab, other departments at the hospital, and the municipal primary care in the northern region.

Samrehab is a creative base unit comprising occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, speech therapists, social workers, psychologists, and assistant staff within open and closed care in northern Kalmar County.

Västervik Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. It is an acute hospital with maternity care and neonatal services.
