This is a planned position, Monday to Friday, daytime hours, with weekends and public holidays off. Our team consists of doctors, nurses, ophthalmic nurses, medical secretaries, orthoptists, and optometrists, present to varying degrees. The eye clinic in Mora conducts high-tech examinations. The long-term goal of the eye clinic is for all nurses within the department to be or become specialized ophthalmic nurses. The duties are standard for an eye clinic, such as vision testing, tonometry, visual field testing, fundus photography, some telephone advice, and preparation for doctors, among others. For a few years now, we have also launched an operational unit where we administer intravitreal injections. This takes place one day a week.

You must be a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. It is an advantage if you are an ophthalmic nurse, have previously worked in eye care, or have surgical experience. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. A positive attitude, good teamwork skills, communication skills, strong ethics, and being structured and meticulous are essential.
