Do you have the drive and motivation to help people with mental illness in an acute phase? Then you could be our new colleague!
Your workplace
On Ward 44, a dedicated team works with a focus on quality and care. Here, nurses and care assistants work in teams, together with the ward doctor, counselor, and occupational therapist. The ward has 12 beds and admits patients with, among other things, severe depression, anxiety, suicide risk, bipolar disorder, and delusions.
We are a 24/7 operation with shifts during the day, evening, night, and every other weekend. An exciting new addition is that patients now have access to meet a therapy dog.
We always strive to provide our patients with the best possible care. To achieve this, we work with a holistic approach to inpatients. Our focus is on risk prevention and creating the best possible conditions for patients even after their hospital stay. We are constantly developing and delivering patient-safe, evidence-based, and high-quality care.
Your responsibilities
As a nurse on the ward, you lead and distribute the daily work. You have both medical and nursing responsibility, document in the patient journal, and follow up on interventions. You participate in the daily rounds together with the ward doctor and have contact with relatives as well as other actors involved in the patient's care.
Your skills and competencies
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. It is meritorious if you have further education as a psychiatric nurse or experience working within psychiatry. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You are flexible in your working methods and have a professional attitude. You collaborate well with others, take responsibility for your work, and contribute to good quality in care.
