As a nursing assistant here, you will have an exciting and varied daily routine together with your colleagues. Our operations are an important part of the care chain, and in your role as a nursing assistant, you will meet different types of patients from various hospital departments and flows. We are located at a medium-sized hospital, offering all the advantages of a small hospital with short decision-making paths, while simultaneously providing advanced care. We have a high-tech equipment park where we perform the most common X-ray examinations. As a nursing assistant here, you have a patient-facing role and are the first person our patients meet when they arrive at the radiology department. Here, you rotate through several of the department's different sections to provide variety in your workday. The position is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, with a possible extension.

About you

You have a positive attitude towards both tasks and colleagues, and you value good quality in what you do, just as we do. To work with us, you need to be a trained nursing assistant and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. This position is subject to ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

The Radiology Clinic at Västervik Hospital consists of 55 employees who perform approximately 60,000 examinations per year. The clinic provides qualified services around the clock, and through our good cooperation, we manage to keep waiting times short. We also operate in Vimmerby. We value a good working environment and efficient operations, which we create together by focusing on the patient's best interests and by having good cooperation within the clinic. Västervik Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with maternity care and a neonatal unit.
