About the Role

We are now looking for a Specialist Nurse in Psychiatry for the Psychiatric Clinic in Falun.
Here, you will meet patients in their daily lives and work with continuity, relationships, and long-term care measures. This is a position for you who are secure in your professional role and wish to work independently - in close collaboration with a competent interdisciplinary team.
The Psychiatric Clinic in Falun provides specialist psychiatric care for adult patients with various psychiatric conditions. The operations are characterized by a holistic perspective where medical, psychological, and nursing interventions collaborate to create long-term sustainable care measures. Responsibilities
You work in a team together with doctors, nurses, counselors, psychologists, and other professions to create security, continuity, and cohesive care for our patients. In your role, you contribute with your specialist competence in psychiatric care and follow patients over time. You have significant patient-facing responsibility and work both independently and in close collaboration with other professional groups at the clinic.
The work involves, among other things:
- Participating in assessments, planning, and follow-up of care measures
- Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in the patient's mental well-being
- Contributing to security, continuity, and participation for patients and relatives
- Collaborating closely with other functions at the clinic and with external actors when necessary
- Contributing to the development of working methods, quality, and structure in patient-facing work
Qualifications
The following are required for this position:
- Trained nurse assistant who has completed the Care and Nursing Program or the vocational package Care and Nursing at adult education
- Specialist Nurse in Psychiatry or equivalent as assessed by the employer as relevant for the position
- Experience working in the field of psychiatry
- Experience conducting structured suicide risk assessments
- Valid Driver's License Category B
