Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Centre unit, 1177 and emergency clinics in the evenings and weekends, and the Centre for General Medical Education. We operate a broad primary care service where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the final stages of life.

Lambohov is a district in southern Linköping, close to the university. The Lambohov Health Centre currently has approximately 11,600 registered patients. We are a team of approximately 45 employees, including specialists in general medicine, district nurses, assistant nurses, psychologists, a rehabilitation coordinator, a dietitian, and healthcare administrators.

Job Description

We are now expanding our psychology clinic with one more licensed psychologist. As a psychologist at Lambohov Health Centre, you will become part of a stable and engaged team, where there is generally high competence in mental health issues. Psychological competence is highly valued in the work group, and as a psychologist, you have an important advisory role towards other staff.

The clinic is central to the handling of mental health at the health centre, and the employees work closely together with other professional groups, and you will also have contact with neighboring care providers. You will see patients from 18 years and older, at all stages of life, with varying reasons for seeking care. You will be involved in developing and shaping our approach based on the Integrated Behavioral Health model.

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It is meritorious if you have experience from primary care as well as assessment and treatment of trauma, rehabilitation, work with sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as treatment of pain, complex fatigue, and functional symptoms. You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to level C1.

For this position, we are looking for you who have good cooperation skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. You need to thrive in a varied daily routine with a relatively high pace, considering the patient's complexity and level of care. Furthermore, you feel secure in your professional role and are accustomed to making independent decisions. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. You are welcome to have an interest in group therapy in various forms, as this is something we hope to offer in the future. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
