Here, you will have the opportunity to develop at your own pace, with support from doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. We learn from each other and grow together in our professional roles.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the important pre- and post-operative care of our patients. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your competence in internal medicine, in addition to our core area of orthopedics, as many of our patients also have internal medical conditions. We value a good work environment and offer an introduction tailored to your previous experience. At our department, all employees are involved in the work of developing and improving both work methods and operations. You will become an important part of our team, which together creates an stimulating and developmental work climate. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for sixteen care beds and work in three care teams.

The Orthopedic Clinic in Västervik offers a nearly complete range of acute and elective orthopedic care and has a county-wide responsibility for shoulder surgery. The clinic consists of a care ward and an outpatient clinic, where approximately 60 employees work.

Västervik Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. It is an emergency hospital with maternity care and a neonatal unit.
